Fascia is a connective tissue which runs uninterrupted head to toes. Trauma, poor posture, surgery and inflammation binds down the fascia creating pressure on nerves, blood vessels and organs. Medical tests do not show fascial restrictions. So most pain and lack of motion go undiagnosed.
Pilates is best described as stretching and strengthening the whole body with control. It empowers your mind to connect to your body and perform at it's best. The choreography is executed slow and precise with attention on the core to develop a toned and balanced body free of tension and pain.
Myofascial Release will open a system that won't be forced providing freedom of movement. Pilates strengthens and supports the fascial releases.
